Uploading Materials

All raw materials recorded during the field survey (images, point clouds, and other data) can be easily uploaded to the TreeDetect system.
Uploading can be done using the familiar drag & drop method or by selecting files manually through the browser interface.

Supported Formats

  • Images: JPG, PNG, TIFF
  • Point Clouds: LAS
  • Maximum file size: 20 GB per file

All uploaded files are automatically validated to ensure that only high-quality data proceeds to processing.

⚠️ Note:
Always upload georeferenced point clouds (containing coordinate data) to ensure accurate processing!

Automatic Area Calculation:
After uploading images or point clouds, the system automatically calculates the surveyed area in both square meters and hectares.
This value later serves as the basis for fee calculation during the payment process.

Managing Uploaded Files

Once uploaded, files are displayed in a clear list, showing:

  • File type (e.g., Images, Point Cloud)
  • File name
  • Size (MB)
  • Upload date

Additional options are available for each file:

  • Download: retrieve uploaded files anytime.
  • Delete: remove incorrect or unnecessary uploads easily.

Advantage: The organized file list and categorization ensure full transparency and easy navigation.

Important Upload Guidelines

  • Uploading may take longer for large point clouds or high-resolution imagery.
  • Each file undergoes an automatic validation process to ensure compatibility and processability.
  • Upload progress can be monitored in real time via the interface.

⚠️ Warning:
Leaving the page or closing the browser during upload will interrupt the process.

💡 Tip:
Always verify that all your files have been successfully uploaded before proceeding!
