Report Page

Once processing is complete, users are notified both via email and within the system.
The Report Page provides a comprehensive visualization and export of all processed forestry data.
Here you can access detailed results, charts, heatmaps, and map-based visualizations showing all detected trees.

Summary Overview

The key results of the processing are displayed in a summary block, containing the most important forestry metrics such as:

  • Number of detected trees
  • Number of measured trees
  • Gross volume (m³)
  • Average height (m)
  • Average diameter (cm)
  • Total basal area (m²)
  • Volume per hectare (m³/ha)
  • Basal area per hectare (m²/ha)
  • Average tree count per hectare (trees/ha)
  • Average basal area (m²)
  • Tree species

Advantage:
The summary section provides an instant overview of the stand’s structure and main characteristics.
All metrics are automatically calculated for every project, allowing easy comparison between surveys.

Visualizations

The system automatically generates spatial and statistical visualizations, which can be explored interactively.

Heatmaps

Heatmaps display the structural variation within the surveyed area:

  • Tree height heatmap – shows the spatial distribution of tree heights.
  • Trunk diameter heatmap – visualizes the spatial distribution of DBH (diameter at breast height).
  • Tree density heatmap – indicates density variations across the area using color gradients.

All heatmaps are interactive and zoomable, with color scales clearly showing high-density, tall, or low-canopy sections.

Distribution Charts

Distribution charts reveal statistical relationships and forest structure characteristics:

  • Tree height distribution: categorizes trees by height classes.
  • Trunk diameter distribution: frequency distribution of diameters.
  • Height–diameter correlation: visualizes relationships between height and diameter, including averages, medians, and trend lines.
You can also set the sample size displayed on the graph for better clarity.

Advantage:
Distribution charts help interpret the forest’s heterogeneity, age structure, and composition.
Every chart is expandable to full view, and values update dynamically based on processed data.

Map Visualization

The “Tree Locations on Map” module contains an interactive map displaying all detected trees.

  • Each tree is represented as a point, labeled with a unique TreeID.

  • The map is zoomable and movable, with selectable DTM or CHM layers.

  • Clicking on a tree opens a detailed information popup:

    Example:

    • ID: 688
    • Height: 30.5 m
    • Diameter: 19.7 cm
    • Gross volume: 0.43 m³
    • Basal area: 0.03 m²

Advantage:
The interactive map reveals real spatial relationships, allowing users to clearly visualize tree distribution and stand structure.

Downloadable Files

All processed layers and reports for the project are available for download.

Available Files

  • Layers:

    • projectname_CHM.tif – Canopy Height Model
    • projectname_DTM.tif – Digital Terrain Model
  • Report files:

    • projectname_REPORT.xlsx – detailed spreadsheet with every tree’s parameters

Each file includes timestamp and file size information, allowing users to track project versions accurately.

⚠️ Note:
High-resolution TIFF files should be opened in GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS.

Report Download

On the Report Page, you can generate a professional PDF Report using the “Generate PDF Report” button.
The exported report includes all key project data, charts, and statistics in a clear and printable format.

Before generating, users can select which project parameters to include in the report — enabling full customization.

Advantage:
The PDF report is well-formatted, structured, and print-ready, making it ideal for presentations, studies, or official forestry documentation.
